This Corrosion Resistant AquaSaw is designed for cutting salt water material and is generally used to cut corals. It is based upon the regular C40, but has improvements designed to reduce maintenance when the saw is used in a corrosive environment, such as with salt water. Cutting clearance has been increased to 4.5" (5.56" with Blade Guide Removed) from 2.37" on the Standard Aquasaw for the ability to cut larger material. The flat stainless steel diamond blade travels at 40 miles per hour which makes cutting quick and efficient.
